Our 25-meter (Junior Olympic) pool features four lap lanes and a shallow play area for children, and is heated to 80 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. The pool is open during regular club hours.
Lap lanes are available seven days a week, except during scheduled aquatics programs and Pre-Swim Team practices for kids. See our Class Schedule for more information about youth and adult aquatics programs at the Reception Desk.

Aqua Fitness Class

Personal Aquatics Training
At Bay Club Santa Clara, we offer personal aquatics training year-round. Choose from convenient lesson times and a wide range of professionals to meet your unique goals.
Whether you're at the top of your fitness curve or recovering from injury, training in the water has never been more relevant. Runners use pool exercises for resistance training with minimal joint impact. Bodybuilders seek pool workouts to enhance muscle definition and toning during their taper phase. And fitness enthusiasts of all types revel in the calm, meditative space.

Pre-Swim Team for Children
Pre-Swim Team trains children for swim team participation. Our instructors teach all four competitive strokes, as well as how to do flip turns and starts, and classes focus on stroke technique, endurance, and speed. To participate, children must be able to swim freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke proficiently.
Private Lessons, Semi-Private Lessons, and Group Lessons
Designed to strengthen swimming skills in a fun and safe environment, personal youth aquatics training is available year-round.
One-on-one lessons allow our instructors to provide individual attention, make adjustments according to children’s learning styles, and accommodate parents' schedules.
Group lessons are offered from late spring through summer and allow children to learn by watching and interacting with other swimmers in a supportive and instructional environment.
Offered to adults who are beginner to intermediate swimmers, this four-week series focuses on stroke technique and endurance.

Bay Club Santa Clara's Masters Swim is for anyone over the age of 18. We emphasize fitness, camaraderie and triathlon training.
Choose from several workouts offered throughout the week, led by renowned swim coaches. During certain phases of the season, we use periodization to build up to peak events. To meet the needs of our open water and triathlon swimmers, we also incorporate sighting, wave patterns and crowd control into workouts.
